Oslavme společně #EuropeDay

Toužili jste někdy navštívit Evropu během jediného dne?

Evropské instituce si každý rok připomínají vyhlášení „Schumanovy deklarace“. Tento historický okamžik se odehrál 9. května 1950 a znamenal začátek evropské integrace a spolupráce v zájmu míru a jednoty.

Letošní den otevřených dveří institucí EU v Bruselu se konal v sobotu 4. května. Před blížícími se volbami do Evropského parlamentu (6.–9. června) byla pořádána celá škála akcí a aktivit v Bruselu, Lucemburku, Štrasburku a ve všech členských státech EU.

Pro návštěvníky to byla skvělá příležitost se dozvědět, co pro nás Evropská unie dělá v našem běžném životě a jak se na tvorbě jejích politik může podílet každý z nás.

What’s on?

Through a series of events, activities and themed spaces, Europe Day offers citizens a chance to visit the European institutions, discover how they operate on a daily basis, and explore the policies that shape our lives.

All activities are free of charge, with no registration required.

To take part, check out the programmes that participating EU institutions have put together for 4 May in Strasbourg, and 10 May in Brussels, Luxembourg, Echternach and Frankfurt.

Events in your country

Europe Day is also celebrated throughout the EU’s 27 Member States and around the globe.

On Friday 9 May, the European Union will also be honoured at the World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan. On that day, the EU and its Member States will offer a special programme featuring the cultural richness and diversity of Europe.
