Qatt riedet iżżur l-Ewropa f’jum wieħed?

Bħal kull sena, l-istituzzjonijiet Ewropej jimmarkaw il-preżentazzjoni storika tad- “Dikjarazzjoni ta’ Schuman”, li ġiet żvelata għall-ewwel darba fid-9 ta’ Mejju 1950. Dan il-mument kruċjali kien il-bidu tal-integrazzjoni u l-kooperazzjoni Ewropea għall-paċi u l-unità.

Din is-sena l-Jum għall-Pubbliku tal-UE fi Brussell inżamm nhar is-Sibt, l-4 ta’ Mejju. Bl-elezzjonijiet Ewropej (6-9 ta’ Ġunju) fil-qrib, saret firxa vibranti ta’ avvenimenti u attivitajiet fi Brussell, il-Lussemburgu, Strasburgu, u fl-Istati Membri tal-UE kollha.

Din kienet l-opportunità perfetta għan-nies biex jifhmu aħjar kif l-Unjoni Ewropea ssawwar il-ħajja tagħna ta’ kuljum u kif tista’ tikkontribwixxi għaliha.

What’s on?

Through a series of events, activities and themed spaces, Europe Day offers citizens a chance to visit the European institutions, discover how they operate on a daily basis, and explore the policies that shape our lives.

All activities are free of charge, with no registration required.

To take part, check out the programmes that participating EU institutions have put together for 4 May in Strasbourg, and 10 May in Brussels, Luxembourg, Echternach and Frankfurt.

Events in your country

Europe Day is also celebrated throughout the EU’s 27 Member States and around the globe.

On Friday 9 May, the European Union will also be honoured at the World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan. On that day, the EU and its Member States will offer a special programme featuring the cultural richness and diversity of Europe.
